Approved by the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) on April 10, 2024, the Plan outlines aspirational transportation solutions in Riverside County for Riverside County residents.

The updated Plan identifies the need to invest in crucial transportation projects, services, and infrastructure, including public transportation, roadway safety, highway improvements, active transportation, securing infrastructure from natural disasters, and environmental mitigation. These updates build upon RCTC’s previously approved 2020 TRP and draft 2024 TRP.

The Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) developed the Traffic Relief Plan (TRP or Plan) based on feedback from Riverside County residents and local their elected representatives. The Plan is a countywide transportation blueprint designed to reduce traffic congestion, implement roadway safety measures, and offer greater mobility options for Riverside County residents.

Approved by RCTC on April 10, 2024, the Plan outlines aspirational solutions to fix current and future issues in Riverside County. The updated Plan identifies the need to invest in crucial transportation, including public transportation, roadway safety, highway improvements, active transportation, securing infrastructure from natural disaster, and environmental mitigation.
